Language
This is a courtesy translation of the French original. In case of divergence, the French version prevails.
Purpose
These terms govern access to and use of the gammonGo platform (a social network around backgammon).
Account
Creating an account requires a valid e-mail address. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential.
You must be at least 15 years old to use the service, and declare it when signing up.
Content and conduct
You remain the owner of your content; you grant gammonGo a hosting and display licence to provide the service.
Prohibited content: illegal, hateful, harassing, misleading, or infringing third-party rights.
Moderation may hide (reversible) or delete (permanent) content and sanction an account.
The Community rules, published with these documents, detail what moderation removes, what you are notified of and how to appeal a decision.
Intellectual property of articles
A public (unlocked) article remains subject to ordinary copyright: reading it on gammonGo does not allow you to republish it, translate it or quote long extracts elsewhere without its author's consent.
A locked article (access granted by name or through a share link) gives you a right to read it, never a right to redistribute or republish it, even in part. A rendering may carry a discreet mark identifying the reader.
An article written by several authors belongs jointly to all credited co-authors with editing rights; management decisions (deletion, locking, adding or removing a co-author) remain with the main author. This also applies to articles already published by several authors.
Paid subscription
Public sharing is free. The private study space is paid; a free trial without a card is offered.
Pricing, renewal and cancellation terms are in the terms of sale; the right of withdrawal and refunds are in the refund policy.
Liability
The service is provided "as is". gammonGo strives for availability and security without absolute guarantee.
Changes
These terms may change; users are informed.
